In the Baptist backwoods of the Bible Belt, life and death are anything but orderly — and almost always hilarious. When the Turpin family gathers to mourn their dearly departed patriarch, their own troubles keep stealing the spotlight. Through the mishaps, laughter, and Southern charm, the Turpins — with a little help from their oddball community — just might stumble their way through the funeral after all.
